What should I eat before a Manic class? After?

This will vary from person to person, but you should generally intake some form of complex carbohydrates and proteins. A light meal or hearty snack with sufficient initial digestion time before a workout will usually suffice. More importantly is what you replenish your body with after your workout. Stick to proteins such as nuts, fish, and plant proteins while avoiding most sugars. Avoid all sugars for a period of two hours after a workout since sugar is known to stop the production of HGH. However, after two hours, fruits with sugars such as bananas, blueberries, or tart cherries are known to have multiple post-workout recovery benefits.
